Food Access

SNAP/EBT at the Market!

We are proud to accept EBT, Market Bucks, and more to help people stretch their food dollars.

If you want to use EBT at the West Side Farmers Market, bring your card to the Market Information Tent. You will need to run your card to get tokens that you can spend with the vendors to purchase EBT-eligible items. Each token is worth $1 and vendors cannot give change and these tokens can only be spent at the West Side Farmers Market. You cannot spend EBT tokens from other markets at our market.

Market Bucks!

Market Bucks is an amazing program that provides matching funds for EBT customers. The first $10 spent on an EBT card each market day is eligible for a matching number of Market Bucks! This doubles the spending power of your first $10. Like EBT tokens, Market Bucks can only be spent on EBT-eligible items and no change can be given. Unlike the EBT tokens, you can spend Market Bucks at any market that accepts Market Bucks throughout Minnesota

POP Club!

The POP (Power of Produce) Club helps youth aged 4-13 and seniors (62+) purchase fresh, healthy food. Starting in July, West Side Farmers Market will offer one $2 token to any eligible customer. POP Club tokens must be spent on fresh fruits and veggies only.
